Businessman in China pays $1.9 million dollars for Tibetan Mastiff
In China, a family pet could cost you the same amount as a luxury home. The New York Post says a Tibetan mastiff puppy was sold at a pets fair for $1.9 million.
The dogs have lion's blood, according to breeder Zhang Gengyun. Gengyun says this particular breed of mastiff is very rare so many people in China treat the dogs just as they would pandas.
The cost of feeding this large breed is not cheap. The recently purchased pup is currently 31 inches tall and weighs in at 200 lbs.
