Jason Roy Gets Real
Ever wonder what it's like to be in a band that gets to travel all over the world...or what it would feel like to hear a song you wrote on the radio? It sounds really cool, right? Well, I've always had a hunch that it's not all it's cracked up to be. The creative process, the late night hours, the weeks after weeks on the road. It's got to be something God is really putting in your path, I've always thought. So when Jason Roy, lead singer of Building 429 (Where I Belong, We Won't Be Shaken), chatted with us on Wednesday morning, I wanted to know how he feels about the "glamorous life" of being in a band. I really love his honest answers, and I think you will too!
We also talked with Jason about his family and how he lets off a little steam after a big night of ministry on the Winter Jam stage. You can listen to the whole interview right here:

You can see Jason and the rest of the band when WCIC welcomes Winter Jam to the Peoria Civic Center on Sunday, March 29, along with Skillet, Jeremy Camp, Francesca Battistelli, and For King & Country. It's a concert you don't want to miss! You can find out more about Winter Jam here.
